Locally Owned and Operated, The Brasserie opened its doors in July of 2015 and is owned by the Mother-Daughter Team of Nora and Michele Roesch. Nora Roesch grew up on Tipp Hill and attended Bishop Ludden High School. She later moved to Camillus with her family. She has been in the food industry for over 10 years, with experience running the Bar and Restaurant at Tuscarora Golf Club. Michele Roesch attended Bishop Ludden High School and then graduated from The College of Saint Rose in 2014 with a Bachelors in Business Administration. The Brasserie Bar and Bistro came to life when Michele returned to Syracuse after graduation.
The Brasserie Bar and Bistro was inspired by Michele’s trip abroad during her college years. Studying in London and Warsaw, as well as traveling to France, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Austria and Amsterdam created the image and atmosphere of The Brasserie Bar and Bistro. The Brasserie provides
a welcoming and relaxing environment for guests based on the vibe from bistros, pubs, restaurants and brasseries abroad. European inspired items can be found on both the food and drink menus, such as Croque Madame, Steak Frites, Franziskaner Hefe-Weiss, and Barone Fini Pinot Grigio. Local menu items; Riggies, Greens, Dr. Frank Dry Riesling and several rotating local beers, are also featured daily. The Brasserie Bar and Bistro serves one menu daily with lunch and dinner specials made fresh as well as offering Sunday Brunch every week. The team works hard to provide inviting and informative service, high quality food and drinks for an affordable price, and a comfortable and clean atmosphere that you will love.
